Our Ethos

Abelanani is a family owned business. Abelanani began operating in 2000 with one full-time member of staff and one part-time. Our name means “let us all share together” and in keeping with that we presently employ 86 staff. Many of our staff have come with little or no skill and have been trained by us. Our policy is to promote within the company and staff, through their own initiative and drive, have been given the opportunity to upgrade their skills to operate highly technical equipment and in some cases to occupy supervisory and management positions.

Branches

The company’s Head Office is housed in 2000 square metres of space in Bedford Gardens. We currently have in excess of 300 imported promotional products in stock which we brand in house. We also have three areas of manufacturing; lanyards, button badges and full colour branded t-shirts, golf shirts and lounge shirts. We are recognised as the largest lanyard manufacturer in Africa.

Our Durban branch occupy’s two buildings in the Brooklyn Office Park in Briardene and is known as a centre of excellence for dye sublimation products in South Africa. We offer free daily courier service of orders to our Durban clients.

The import division is based in Johannesburg with a dedicated sourcing agent in China.

In-House Branding

We offer a full in-house branding service for all products we stock. Our lead times are some of the best in the industry and we have recently started a 24 hour branding service as well.
